Moon Phase Flip Book

You will need:

1 Black piece of construction paper

7 White circles

1 Black circle

Glue

Scissors

Directions:

Take your seven circles and make each phase of the moon.

Waxing Crescent

1st Quarter

Waxing Gibbous

Full Moon

Waning Gibbous

Last Quarter

Waning Crescent

Now start gluing them to your book!

Start with the black circle, which is the New Moon.

Then the Waxing Crescent and the First Quarter. Be sure to keep them in order!

Then the Waxing Gibbous and Full Moon.

Then the Waning Gibbous and Last Quarter.

Finally, glue on the Waning Crescent and you are done.
